Animal Health Parasiticide Platform

Our state-of-the-art parasiticide platform supports the discovery and development of products for companion and production animals.  The Avista Pharma bio-profiling portfolio includes over 30 species of clinically and commercially important ectoparasites (fleas, ticks, flies, mosquitos) and endoparasites (intestinal worms, heartworms), as well as protozoans (leishmania, cryptosporidium, trypanosomes). Avista Pharma has the capability to screen large compound collections in a high-throughput screening format or focused compound sets to support lead optimization, candidate selection and label extension.  Avista Pharma has a proven record of success in the identification and optimization of parasiticides, with several candidates progressing into clinical studies and commercialization.
